Alumni updates


Most DC area alums are familiar with GWU's ISTP Program... especially since the Space Policy Institute has sent at least one student to the SSP for about the last 5 years!  Well, yesterday a few of us got together to celebrate the recent spate of ISTP engagements and weddings... Congrats to Dave, Audrey, and Jason (all SSP07)!

Since we board members keep harping on our fellow alumni to share updates with us and tell other alumni what's going on in their lives, I figured I would take my own advice... its not "space"-related, but I am getting married in 3 days!  My oldest and closest "space" friend is in the wedding, and I know several ISU alums who have pledged to be there in spirit :-) Hope everyone is enjoying summer...

Starting to think about options for education and public outreach components for a newly selected Venture class suborbital project here at NASA Langley.

I had a good, long and useful conversation with Kirk K over the weekend.  The conversation meandered all over the place but a few items really stood out: 1) Website work/edits, 2) Twitter/Social media connections and 3) reaching out to our “lost sheep”.
