ISU-DC Space Cafes

The International Space University-US Alumni Association’s Washington, DC Chapter presents monthly Space Cafes!  These events bring together prominent experts on space, ISU alumni, the space community, and the interested public in a casual forum that encourages interaction and discussion.

The Space Cafes take place on the second Tuesday of every month and begin at 7pm.  The venue that hosts the Space Cafes is the Science Club, located at 1136 19th Street, NW, Washington, DC:  http://www.ScienceClubDC.com/.

This month’s speaker will be Alan Ladwig, Deputy Associate Administrator for Public Outreach at NASA Headquarters.  Alan has long been at the forefront of advocating expanded roles for and participation in space.  His current role affords him the opportunity to address the longstanding challenge of harnessing public support for space activities.

Please join us on Tuesday, November 8th to hear what Alan has to say and add your voice to the discussion.  There’s no need to RSVP, but if you have questions or suggestions for future speakers, please feel free to contact me at angela.peura@gmail.com.

See you there!
